Euthanasia or doctor assisted suicide is a taboo subject in most countries. It is still even illegal in most countries of the world. It is legal only in Oregon and the Netherlands.
Should doctors be allowed to terminate life?Almost every family has had to watch the slow and agonizing death of a behated family member from cancer, neurological disease, or other terminal illness. This is where doctor assisted suicide (DAS) steps in. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just stop the pain and misery of a hated one? When they only have a few months to live and they are in constant pain, wouldn't you want to stop that???
Should euthanasia be a choice for people who are suffering and terminally ill?
You might consider the cost of keeping individuals on life-support systems. Should we put a price on life???
Should God only be allowed to decide the time of death of a person?
What diseases should a person have in order to allow mercy killing??
How much time should we wait in order to confirm that the patient cannot recover?
Should decision be taken by one doctor, a family member, a board of doctors, the public???
