On hot days temperature regulation in Man is aided by production of sweat. When sweat evaporates latent heat of vaporization is taken from the skin and this helps to bring down the body temp to normal level. If the sweat is to evaporate in the atmosphere must be low. Humidity is one of the factors that control evaporation of water vapor sweat cannot evaporate and this prevents the loss of heat from the body and thus the regulation of the body temperature in man.
