In your introduction, you can talk about the old and modern means of transport and modern means of communication.
Old means of transport: ship, horse, cart, train
Modern means of transport: aeroplane, helicopter, car, buses, rockets, high-speed trains, etc.
Old means of communication: human messenger would deliver the letter, pigeons, smoke on top of hills
Modern means of communication: TV, radio, mobile phone, telephone, Internet, email, chat, audio and video conferencing

- we have become slaves of our mobile phone (carry it anytime/everywhere), use it anywhere even in banks, hospitals, during talks, etc.
