A:A child requires large quantities of proteins, calcium, iron and vitamin D in addition to sufficient quantities of carbon hydrates, fats and vitamins C and roughage.proteins provides the amino acids essential for the formation of cells which bring about the growth in the child.iron helps in the formation of haemeglobin and red blood cells and calcium and vitamin D are necessary for the  formation of bones and teeth.

B A pregnant or calcium and woman needs phosphorous to support the rapid bone growth of the foetus,more iron for the formulation of its red blood cells.(Haemoglobin),more proteins for its tissuesand more glucose to provide the energy necessary to carry out all these building up processes.More Vitamin D isalso needed as it helps in the absorption of and assimilation of calcium she should also increase the intake of other vitamins.

C a man who does hard physical work requires an average of  to build up new per 16mjof energy per day thereforehesholud have sufficient protoplasm.(muscle cells)
