Dear Sir,
I can recall vividly that particular occasion when everything change forever. Tico and Popo, two childhood friends decided to buy some lotteries while returning home from work as they wanted to try their luck. Little did they know that a simple lottery ticket would change their lives?
One Friday afternoon, while returning home, they passed near a lottery shop and they decided to try their luck by buying lotteries for two hundred rupees since they had financial problems. However if they won, they would share the money between them. The lotteries tickets remained with Tico.
Some months later, the lottery results were out. Tico was shocked when he saw his lottery number in the newspaper. They had won the first prize. It was their luck that they had won one million rupees. They were really happy. Both Tico and Popo could not believe it that they had really won the jackpot. Unfortunately Tico turned out to be selfish man. Out of greediness, without informing Popo he went to collect the money and he decided not to share with Popo.
When Popo came to meet Tico, Tico told him that he would not give him a penny. Hearing this, Popo became furious. He could not believe what Tico had done to him, such deceitful act. He was very angry. Then Popo told Tico “what you have done is not right. You will regret it. I will surely take my revenge from you and mark my word.” Then Popo left, within a few days; Tico became a very rich man.
One day, Popo decided to take his revenge. He decided to snatch Tico’s happiness. The only way was to kidnap his only daughter, Sarah, a six year old girl. One afternoon when Sarah was returning from school, Popo saw her and called her. He gave her chocolates and took her to a haunted house. Sarah was traumatized. He then phoned Tico to inform him that his daughter is in his custody and he can go to any extent to harm Sarah and he told Tico “you have hurt me by doing this greedy act. Therefore you have to pay for the circumstances or if you agreed to my conditions. I will let her go.” Tico was shocked and told him that he would give him everything that he wanted but not to harm his daughter. He agreed to Popo condition by giving him one and a half million rupees and not to tell the police.
That evening, Tico went to the haunted house alone with the money. When he saw Popo, he asked him, where Sarah was. Popo told him that she was fine and that she is sleeping. Tico gave Popo the money and in return, Popo gave him his daughter. Since that day, Tico promised hat he would not be greedy and that he would always keep his words.
Yours sincerely,
